Introducing Live Page Capture: Point Lupine at Any State, Not Just the Default One

We are excited to announce that Live Page Capture is now live in Lupine, letting users guide the page into the exact state they want analyzed before Lupine captures it .

Until now, Lupine could only analyze the default first-load version of a page, even though many of the most important user experiences live behind dynamic states such as popups, location selectors, logged in views, carousels, drawers, accordions, and tab switches. Live Page Capture solves this by opening a live, streamed browser session the moment a user enters a URL, so they can shape the page before Lupine ever looks at it .

What it does

Instead of moving straight into a passive loading flow after a URL is submitted, Lupine now opens a streamed remote browser session inside the app. From there, users can close modal overlays, accept or reject cookie banners, open dropdowns, change market or language selectors, navigate tabs, expand accordions, move sliders or carousels, scroll to a specific zone, or trigger lazy loaded content .

At any point, the user tells Lupine to capture the current state and run its analysis on that specific rendered experience, rather than whatever is loaded by default . This is not interaction for its own sake. It is state selection: the user chooses the exact version of the page that matters commercially or operationally, and Lupine analyzes that version.

Live Page Capture supports several kinds of state preparation :

-Access gated and hidden views: log into password protected areas, member portals, or staff-only dashboards, and capture pages that sit behind authentication walls, paywalls, age gates, or invite only access

-Overlay handling, such as closing popups, dismissing cookie banners, and removing blocking interstitials

- Navigation state selection across tabs, accordion panels, menus, drawers, and stepper states

- Carousel and gallery positioning, so alternative hero slides or product frames can be captured

- Scroll state capture, bringing the page to a lower section or lazy loaded zone before analysis

- Selector state changes for region, language, currency, or segment views

- Allowing time for JavaScript-rendered content to fully settle before capture, rather than freezing on the initial shell

Why it matters

This addresses one of the most common requests from our users who have repeatedly asked whether Lupine could interact with a live page after loading it, such as closing a popup and then re-analyzing the updated state, or moving a carousel to a different slide before screening it again .
